Sound Companion for PowerPoint

Sound Companion for PowerPoint is a powerful sound editing tool created for use with PowerPoint. Students can record directly into the computer microphone, edit their recordings using cut, copy, and paste commands, add echo, change the pitch, and fade in and fade out. You can also edit any existing sound file, including music files, sound effects and even Internet sound files. For dazzling effects, Sound Companion even allows you to mix multiple sounds into one recording!

A new sound file is created from PowerPoint, just click on Insert, choose Movies and Sounds, and choose Sound From File. Navigate to the edited sound file and place it right into the PowerPoint Presentation. The included browser application allows the preview of all 2500 sounds, graphics, and videos without loading them onto a computer hard drive. Once the appropriate files for the project are found, just click on the Save button and the files are automatically transferred to a designated folder on the hard drive. Use the Power Point Insert menu to link any of the files to a specific slide.
